Mission Announces Two New Hires

Home Care Operations Manager and Sales Manager added to Mission Team

San Diego, Calif. (May 15, 2013)— Mission, which offers medical and non-medical services in the home through its three service lines: Mission Home Health, Mission Home Care and Mission Hospice, announces two new hires in the Home Care division, Paul Scalone and Adam Collings.

Scalone, the new Home Care operations manager brings over 10 years of experience in health care, with special attention to customer service. He most recently worked for a top-rated Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) multi-specialty physician’s group closely associated with one of the largest district hospitals in North San Diego County. He focused on supply chain services, facility and project management. As operations manager at Mission, Scalone is responsible for hiring, budgeting, expanding to new markets and process improvement.

“Adding Paul and Adam is proving to be of great benefit to our growing home care division,” said Kerry Pawl, Director and Co-Founder of Mission. “In the next couple of years we plan to double our emerging team in all three of our service-lines but at the same time making sure the patient is the number one priority.”

Collings, the new Home Care sales manager, began his career in sales while working for T-Mobile for four years. His most recent position was working for a home care agency where he helped open a new territory and built significant relationships with referral sources. Collings is trained in sales presentations, customer service and management. He prides himself in understanding how to work with different types of individuals and how to engage with the customer. As the sales manager at Mission, Collings is responsible for overseeing sales liaisons that cover San Diego County as well as his own territory in La Jolla. Mission is eager about adding Collings’ home care sales strengths to their growing organization. Collings graduated from Weber State in 2010 after graduate with a degree in technical sales.
