Mission Healthcare Now Providing Hospice Care in Ventura County

San Diego, CA, January 7th, 2020—

San Diego-based home healthcare provider, Mission Healthcare, is now providing hospice care in Ventura County.

Mission Hospice joins its sister service line, Mission Home Health, which has been operating in Ventura County since 2015.

Hospice services include a team of nurses, spiritual and bereavement counselors, volunteers and aides who provide care within the comfort of the home and who focus on comfort, dignity and support for the patient and their families.

“There is an important need for compassionate end-of-life care in Ventura, and Mission is committed to providing that care,” said Paul VerHoeve, Mission Healthcare’s Chief Executive Officer.

Studies show that 80 percent of Americans wish to pass away at home, yet only 20 percent do. Mission Hospice is committed to educating its healthcare partners and community members on the benefits of a quality hospice care program.
