San Diego-based home health & hospice provider, Mission Healthcare, recently selected Steve Murphy as its next chief financial officer after a nationwide search.
“Steve is excited to join Mission Healthcare because he knows that we are on a journey to be one of the very best post-acute care providers in California,” wrote CEO and Board Member, Paul VerHoeve, in his internal announcement of the new hire.
Murphy brings over 15 years of financial leadership experience to the organization. He most recently served as CFO for S&P Data. He will oversee all financial operations, including investment and treasury management, capital and debt structure, revenue enhancement and finances.
“Steve’s expertise in financial management and strategic positioning will greatly benefit Mission Healthcare as we continue to grow throughout the region,” VerHoeve writes.
Murphy holds a Master of Business Administration from Boston College and has a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University. He resides in San Diego with his wife and two children.
